Grant Application

The a16z Talent x Opportunity (TxO) initiative identifies and supports entrepreneurs who have the talent, drive, and ideas to build great businesses, but lack the network and resources to do so. TxO does this through:

1) Capital: investment via a Donor Advised Fund managed through The Tides Foundation,

2) Content: a 16-week accelerator and mentorship program, and

3) Community: a vast network of mentors, industry experts, and corporate partners to support each company's business goals.

Aligned with our work, TxO is introducing a grant program to support the advancement of out-of-network talent, enabling them to succeed in the technology industry and startup ecosystem through internship placement and career development opportunities. The TxO Grant Program will allocate up to $50,000 to three selected non-profit organizations for the remainder of the year (2024). A maximum of three organizations will be selected as grant recipients based on their ability to meet the criteria specified below. Please ensure that your application is complete in all respects to be eligible.

Please explore more information about TxO to gain a comprehensive understanding of the initiative before proceeding with the application below. This step ensures that your goals align with our mission.
